Oddly, all of the vending machines in the nearby Presbyterian Hospital emergency room were broken and I really needed a soda. This Circle K was the closest and despite the earlier review, I decided to give it a try.
There were no beggars today (it was a crisp 45 degrees) and I did not patronize the gas pumps area (there's much cheaper gas in South Carolina). Inside the shop, it was tidy and there was a very good selection of beverages and snacks.

The Cashier acted like it was an inconvenience to take my money. When I approached, she was leaning on the counter scrolling through her phone. I placed my coffee on the counter, said "good morning", she smirked while chomping on gum with her mouth open and then told me how much I owed. Never said "thank you" or anything and was otherwise unpleasant.

Worst gas station ever. Always bums hanging out there asking for money. Receipts never print out. Numerous times there have been no paper towels at the pumps. Cashiers are very slow. The list goes on and on. Should bulldoze and put up a quickTrip

The store is fine and it serves its purpose. However the young lady whose name starts with a "D" is ALWAYS complaining. It be so loud that paying patrons can hear how much she "ready to go tf home" and how she "can't stand these ppl." I understand a couple bad days but not exaggerating every time I'm in there it's a complaint. Praying for her happiness and hope one day she can represent her work place in a better manner.
